Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Posted by Elle Worsham on

With the coming of fall, I'm celebrating by bringing back one of my all-time favorite fall recipes: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. These muffins are adapted from a pumpkin bread recipe on my most favorite dessert blog, Sally's Baking Addiction.

Fall flavors are by far my favorite because they just seem to warm the soul with their complexity and nostalgia. Cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg, caramel, apple... there is just something in these flavors that brings us back to the old world, that invites us to slow down and experience the changing of the seasons.

As a self-proclaimed muffin connoisseur, I believe you can trust me that these are worth the trip to the store to grab these ingredients today! These are some of the most moist and yummy muffins I've ever made... and so easy, too! I followed the recipe for the bread exactly and was able to pour 16 muffins. After 20 minutes in the oven, out popped these heavenly treats.

You can find this recipe on Sally's blog here: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. These little treats are just as satisfying for dessert with a little ice cream as they are for breakfast with a warm cup of coffee.

Let me know if you try them out! I promise, in the spirit of the coming season, you will be left feeling very grateful you did.
